Allegorithmic发布了Substance Painter 2017.4,这是Substance Painter 3D纹理绘画软件的最新版本。这次更新增加了图层实例和对Unreal Engine的实时链接。

图层实例可以让用户分享图层属性

Substance Painter 2017.4中主要的新功能就是支持图层实例,用户可以分享多个纹理中的一个或多个图层内容。

Allegorithmic公司表示这次的更新软件可以更快速地制作需要更多纹理的复杂资源,让艺术家习惯使用像Mari这样的工具。

目前,只能处理材质和特效:实例图层上的绘画内容仍然与当前的纹理绑定在一起,但是Allegorithmic公司表示,“不久的将来”这个问题就会解决了。

增加了对Unreal Engine和Unity的实时链接

Unity的实时链接插件得到了更新,现在也可以链接到Unreal Engine软件了。

这款插件第一次是在Substance Painter 2017.2中添加的,更改Substance Painter中的任意资源,都可以实时看到游戏引擎中的更新效果。

自那以后,第三方开发商Hedgehog Labs也发布了自己开发的,提供从Substance Painter到一系列DCC应用软件的实时链接,这次DCC应用软件包括3ds Max、Blender、Maya和Modo。

Substance Painter 2017.4还新增了20款程序化材质,和40款新的无损贴图,其中有一些是程序化的。
