The ability to draw and paint the human head is a fundamental skill that all artists should have. In this first DVD in a series, Bob Kato demonstrates step-by-step how to draw the human head using basic drawing materials. He shows how to develop a drawing in stages, and through this process discusses gesture, form, depth, perspective, proportion as well as light and shadow. Bob also reveals how he invents characters using a basic set of guidelines.
